THERMOisol-CS 1000lite and THERMOisol-CS 1100lite are lightweight Calcium-Silicate boards for high-temperature insulation at back-up layers in industrial furnaces and thermal plant units. THERMOisol-CS 1000lite and THERMOisol-CS 1100lite are compression proof products, dimensionally stable and proven products for economical thermal insulation solutions up to 1000 ° C or 1100 ° C. The lightweight THERMOisol-CS products have a very low weight caused by the porous matrix with an apparent porosity of approx. 90 Vol-%. The THERMOisol-CS products are resistant against a lot of gas atmospheres (CO, CH4, N2) and can also be used at Hydrogen containing hot flue gases. Due to the high capillarity we recommend the use of barrier layers to reduce water absorption in combination with refractory linings.
Our micro porous CalciumSilicate board THERMOisol-CS 1100micro has a particularly micro structure. Due to additional added infrared opacifiers, the thermal conductivity at high temperature ranges is lower than other CS-boards and increase the energy efficiency of industrial furnaces.
The THERMOisol-CS product family is an ecological insulating material for modern high-temperature insulations with the optimum price-performance ratio. Get the benefits of modern refractory lining designs with THERMOisol-CS calcium silicate boards:

THERMOisol-MICRO are lightweight micro porous insulation boards with extremely low thermal conductivities. The boards are used as highly efficient back-up insulation materials at high temperature operating industrial furnaces and thermal plant units. THERMOisol-MICRO insulation boards consist of highly dispersed, amorphous Silica and additionally provided infrared opacifier. Optionally, our micro porous boards are available either with or without a PE foil lamination (variation „plus“). The PE foil facilitates the handling of the sensitive micro porous product group. The micro porous boards are pressure-resistant but extremely sensitive to bending and edge stresses. The material is dimensionally stable and because of the extreme thermal conductivity coefficients the bench mark of insulating materials. Compared to THERMOisol-CS 1100micro the thermal conductivity of THERMOisol-Micro at elevated temperatures up to 1000°C is further improved by additional added infrared opacifiers. However, the micro porous boards are sensitive to moisture. Condensations at this layer needs to be avoided. Therefore, we recommend using the micro porous boards in temperature elevated areas. May be a multiple layer design with integrated micro porous boards is the optimized design. Avoid continuous joints for best results.
THERMOisol-HD are very dense high-temperature insulation boards for compensation of the maximum load along with good insulation properties. The dense insulation boards are used as pressure stable back-up insulation at high-temperature furnaces. Our THERMOisol-HD 85 and HD 110 insulation boards are available in thicknesses of 1-10mm and are suitable for extreme thin thermal separations. THERMOisol-HD 95MB is a self-supporting heavy calcium silicate board that can be well machined on a CNC mill. Due to the high dimensional accuracy and the enormous strength, the area of application in industrial furnaces is to be recommended in the pressure-loaded thermal insulation. The product is one of the best insulating board for complex geometric contours e.g. for spacers etc.
